BARBARA PATTERSON, ASSOCIATE AIA New Business Development
Barbie develops all the proposals, business development, event coordination and preparation of marketing materials. She is in charge of the IT for the office and makes all equipment purchases. All human resource items are also her responsibility. She oversees each of the projects and when more staff is required she reassigns responsibilities to ensure the projects are completed on time.

Fred leads the office in the practice of Architecture. His skill in design and the management of very complex projects is unmatched. He is well known for his responsiveness and his ability to solve problems. All documents developed in our office are reviewed by him prior to their release.

SARAH GARANT, ASID
Education
Sarah gained experience in drafting and design while attending Sam Houston State University and continues to grow that experience with us. Sarah brings her experience and education in Interior Design. Here she increased her skill in space planning, interior remodels, furniture selection and specifying finishes. Sarah is skilled in 3D Cad Visualization and will be providing those services to our clients. Along with drafting and design, Sarah also manages our interior materials and resource library. She is currently studying to take the NCIDQ Examination, which will give her a professional license in Interior Design.

Education
Amanda joined Patterson Architects in March of 2010. As a student intern at Sixth River Architects in Austin, Texas, Amanda gained much experience in diverse commercial architecture, setting a strong foundation to a successful career. During the course of her graduate studies, she had the opportunity as a Teaching Assistant to work with professors in writing the book, “An Embodied Architecture.” After earning the necessary qualifications, Amanda will become a licensed architect. She wishes to keep a diverse portfolio of work while concentrating on public commercial architecture.

ANDY ILGES, ASSOCIATE AIA
Education
Andy joined Patterson Architects in November of 2009 as a part-time intern. Since his Graduation in 2010 he has been a full time intern along with providing IT services. He has previous experience in and around project management which provided him with an understanding of the full life cycle of the construction process. This allows to him to work in any area of the construction time line, from preliminary floor plan development to change orders and contractor punch-lists. Andy was just accepted into the Architectural Graduate Program at Texas A&M University.

BRENDA SWIM
Brenda has in upwards of 20 years experience in office administration and office management. She is responsible for project invoicing, accounts receivable, manages payroll, accounts payable and oversees all business operations. Brenda organizes all the specifications for each of the projects in the office.
